Karan Bohara is an experienced rock climber and trekker hailing from the gorgeous Dolpo region of Nepal. Having grown up amidst the mountains, trails and traditional Himalayan people, he developed a strong affinity for nature and the mountains at a very young age.
Having guided various trekkers and organized outdoor adventures in the different regions of the Himalayas, the knowledge and skills gained through rock climbing have helped Karan develop excellent skills in mountain safety, route-finding, and handling of varying trail situations. He loves to interact with people from different backgrounds and give them a firsthand experience of the natural beauty of Nepal.
Karan is a fun loving, patient and easy going guide who always makes sure that you have a great time with him. He believes that trekking should be about enjoying the trip and getting familiar with your surroundings while traveling. The local knowledge and experience gained by him makes him an asset to the Altitude Quest team.
