10/10 would recommend Altitude Quest! Their entire team is filled with compassionate, thoughtful and experienced trekkers and guides. To go on a trek, summit a peak or rock climb takes trust for each person. I can fully attest that I trusted and valued everyone’s opinions at Altitude. Ramesh is a superb director of the company who makes sure everything is ran smoothly.

Under altitude quest I went outdoor rock climbing in Pokhara and outside of Kathmandu (Pharping). It was honestly such an excellent experience and I would HIGHLY recommend anyone who has any outdoorsy needs such as trekking, mountaineering or bouldering/top rope enquire and book through Altitude Quest.
I hope to be back to Kathmandu and book with them once again!

I came across Altitude Quest through a mutual friend who knows someone working at the company, which was already reassuring. This was my first time in the Himalayas, and I decided to join one of their 10-day tours in April 2026.

As a solo female traveller, I especially want to mention how safe and well looked after Ramesh, the company owner, and Mingma Sherpa, my guide for the 10 days, made me feel throughout the entire trip. I truly can’t thank them enough, or put into words how much that meant to me as a solo female traveller on my own in the middle of the mountains.

Mingma was absolutely spectacular - one of the most competent, knowledgeable and fun guides I could have possibly asked for. He made the experience even more enjoyable and memorable.

I was also genuinely impressed by Ramesh and his team’s passion and dedication to trekking, mountaineering and nature. It’s clear that they truly love what they do, and that passion really comes through in the way they look after their guests.

I hope I’ll one day have the chance to return to the Himalayas, and without a shadow of a doubt, I’ll choose Altitude Quest again.

Me and my wife did a trek with altitude quest treks in Nepal to EBC. It was a great adventure of our lives. Thanks Saroj and his team for all the efforts to make this adventure memorable, we will definitely do our another adventure with this team. Crossing Thorong La Pass is an unforgettable with Altitude Quest, but having Ramesh as our guide made all the difference. He didn’t just set the perfect, safe pace for acclimatization; he also knew exactly where to pause for the most incredible sweeping mountain vistas and sunset lighting. Navigating the rugged terrain, mountain passes, and suspension bridges felt completely secure with his expertise. If you want a guide who truly understands the Annapurnas and knows exactly how to make the trek special, ask for Ramesh!

I recently completed Mardi Himal trek with Altitude Quest and I have to say that it was an amazing experience. Ramesh and his team made it a memorable experience! I felt I was among friends and was taken care of very well. Ramesh's guidance was very reassuring and whatever doubts I had about my physical endurance were put at ease. He led a warm-up session before each day of trek and that made quite a difference! Also his briefing sessions in the evening were informative and helped us prepare well for the coming day. Everything was carefully curated and customised for us, including the dinner in Kathmandu. After we returned, Ramesh surprised us with personalised coffee mugs which carried a picture of each of us at the 4000 metre mark with the Annapurna range in the background. I would recommend Altitude Quest to anyone planning a trek in Nepal!

This is my 2nd time trekking with Ramesh. Without fail, Ramesh and his team take safety and welfare as top priority. They will consistently check your health condition and take care of my well being.

Talking about my experience with this agency is truly a pleasure. It was an incredible journey. Nepal is a place where the culture, the energy, and the magic of the mountains take you into something truly unique. An experience that goes far beyond adventure — it is about spirituality, connection with nature, and especially with people.

And about the agency team… from the very first contact in Kathmandu until the last day of the expedition, they were by my side the entire time. Not simply as service providers, but as a true family. Always concerned about supporting me, making sure I was okay, checking if I needed anything, if I was enjoying the experience, and also taking me to local places so I could truly experience the culture.

That goes far beyond tourism or mountaineering. It is about care, hospitality, and genuine human connection.

I want to sincerely thank them for all the support I received, for their professionalism, for keeping me safe throughout the journey, for sharing their knowledge, for their calmness during difficult moments, and above all, for their technical expertise. Without a doubt, this is an experience I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

A reliable trekking agency

This is the second time I trekked with the same guide.

The agency carried out a pre-trek briefing and final inspection on our gears/equipment before we embarked our trek.

During the trek, the guide will ensure our well being and safety were taken care off and consistently reminding everyone of us to hydrate ourselves. The guide also conducted after dinner briefing to let us know what to expect for our next day trek.

I would definitely continue to engage the Altitude Quest for my next mini expedition:)
