I went with my daughter to the EBC. It was simply amazing. Our guide Ramesh was helpful and always found quick solutions to solve any kind of issue (personal or related to bad weather in our case) The trek experience is something i will never forget : stunning views over the mountains, small villages with smiling people, colorful bridges and yaks. Ramesh was always there giving us tips on how to handle altitude issues and whenver we need it
Just finished the ABC (Annapurna Base Camp) trek, and it was amazing! The mountain views were stunning, and the sunrise at base camp was so beautiful. The hike was challenging but worth it, and the local food and tea were comforting after long days.
A big thank you to our guide, Ramesh, who was so patient and kind throughout the trek. He always made sure we were safe and comfortable, and his knowledge about the mountains made the journey even more special. Highly recommend this trek if you love nature and adventure!

This early March 2025, I went for my 1st ever Solo Trek to Mardi Himal. Mardi Himal has been on my mind ever since I made my footprints to the Poon Hill & ABC last Nov 2024. The magical looking trail covered by snow had my heart captured. Hence, I'm determined to make a comeback to witness the breathtaking scenery, snowy trek, warmth of the Nepalese people, culture, etc.
Words can't described how much I appreciate and thankful to have Ramesh, the dedicated, caring and knowledgable mountain guide whom took care of my needs & team Porter. These experts just know their route, photographed the moments & trekker's safety at utmost priority. I had a good time trekking and spending my time around Pokhara and Kathmandu. Besides trekking, there are a few tick list that I managed to crossed off (Bungee jump, Paraglide, visit Bhaktapur etc)
During my solo trekking, my accommodation has been comfortably basic room that equipped with clean bedding & thick warming comforter. The customer service from the teahouse operator were A team. Loved the cultural dances that immersed with its beautiful Nepali culture & people.
The beautiful blooming Rhododendron, stunning views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre (Mt. Fishtail) with the touch of golden sunrise, serene and peaceful alpine terrain as its less crowded.
The comeback to Nepal made me wanted more exploration to other beautiful treks. Highly recommended to trek with Altitude Quest for your reassured trekking experience.

Our mountain guide Ramesh and his team was absolutely amazing! They took such good care of everyone in the group from start to finish. Always checking in on us, making sure we were okay, and adjusting the pace when needed—especially when some parts of the trail got tough.
Their support made a huge difference. They were encouraging, calm, and never made anyone feel rushed or left behind. You could really feel that they cared about our comfort and safety the whole way.
This wasn’t just a hike—it was a meaningful experience made even better by a guide who genuinely looked after us. Highly recommended if you’re looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and professional.

Trekked EBC during April 2025 & guided by Ramesh. Ramesh is knowledgeable about the Himalaya region, able to tell all the iconic mountains and he will explain the flora and fauna we see on trek like their national flower - Rhododendron, the differences about yak and dzo (yak & cattle hybrids) etc., he also has an eagle eye for spotting rare animals like their national bird -Himalayan monal & able to tell the gender etc.
He is a fun person yet he takes our safety seriously. What’s more, he acts as a photographer for our group as well. I can’t say he is a perfect trekking guide but I can’t ask for more for his patience, humble, considerations and trying his best accommodating to our requests and most importantly impressive photography skills 😅… The first 5 photos show how Ramesh had worked hard during the trek and last 4 photos are some masterpieces from Ramesh… Appreciate and happy to meet you, Ramesh as one of my hiking buddies in this long-haul strenuous mountain hiking…For photo please click here.
